Work sessions are held at Bonsal every Saturday (and most Sundays) from 9:00AM to 5:00PM all year round. There is always plenty of work and fun to go around. There is a place for you with us, whatever your special skill may be, and if you want to learn new skills, we can handle that as well.

It takes all kinds of people to run a successful railroad and museum, and nowhere is that more evident than when one examines what kind of people we have as members. Our volunteers include electricians, mechanical engineers, veterinarians, computer programmers, heavy equipment mechanics, railroad employees, retired executives, nurses, scientists etc. We are a diverse group of individuals, sharing a common interest preserving the history and heritage of railroads. We believe our volunteer efforts at the museum are making a valuable contribution to our community and especially our children. Seeing the delight on the faces of our visitors, young and old, confirms we do makes a difference. Join us, and be a part of that!
